You may withdraw from the contract of sale of the product within an exclusive period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the purchase of goods, by written notification (via email to  If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Returned goods must be (a) in immaculate condition without any signs of use, (b) in original packaging including user manuals and all complementary accessories and (c) accompanied by the purchase invoice. The full amount will be refunded less the delivery charges and five (5)% restocking fee for credit card charges. The customer shall also bear the cost of returning the goods. ZAFETTA ELECTRICAL LIMITED reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the abovementioned criteria. Postage should not be attached on the manufacture’s box. Returned goods must be shipped back inside another box just like it is delivered in the first place.

Incorrect items (wrong deliveries by seller) will be replaced free of charge provided the claim is made within 24 hours of delivery. Incorrect items must be in original packaging unopened and unused. If the goods have been opened or tampered with in any way that in the opinion of the seller are not considered new anymore, the customer may be refused any refund.

Sensitive electronic devices such as electronic ignition coils and ignition modules will NOT be accepted for return after installation. The seller reserves the right to refuse replacement or refund on any such products when in doubt as to their condition as a courtesy to the next customer.

To make a return the customer shall contact the seller via email through the Contact page on ZAFETTA ELECTRICAL LIMITED’s website giving full name, address, phone number, email address, invoice number, part number of item to be returned and the reason for the return. The customer service staff will attend to the request as soon as possible and they will get back to the customer with instructions on how to return the desired product. Once instructions are received, the customer must mail and/or return the product(s) within 3 days to the following Address otherwise the case will be considered closed.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs for returning your item are non-refundable.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within two weeks.


During the order placement stage and prior to payment, the customer may cancel or alter his order by either adding or removing items.


Products that fail within the stated warranty period (warranty claims) will be replaced free of charge provided the claim is made within 14 days of the failure and original purchase invoice is furnished. The warranty always runs from the invoice date onwards.

ZAFETTA ELECTRICAL LIMITED provides twelve (12) months warranty on all products, except for batteries and lighting equipment where special conditions apply. Provided an item has been installed correctly and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, ZAFETTA ELECTRICAL LIMITED will repair or replace at its absolute discretionary power the faulty product. The seller will return the repaired product or other product to the customer in good functional state. All the materials or other equipment for which replacements were made will be the property of the seller.

No extension or renewal of the duration of the guarantee is granted on the repaired products.

Light bulbs have NO warranty. Motorcycle and VRLA batteries are covered by three (3) months full warranty. Automotive batteries are covered by twelve (12) months full warranty and thereafter six (6) months partial warranty on the “Starter” brand and twelve (12) months partial warranty on the “Varta” brand. Should a battery fail after the twelve (12) months full warranty period, the customer will pay a percentage of the value of the new battery. The amount payable by the customer in such cases is calculated by dividing the number of months of the defective battery by the total number of months of warranty (18 or 24 depending on the brand) and multiplying by the price of the new battery.

The limited guarantee does not apply to natural wear and tear. It also does not apply in the case the fault was caused by the fact that the product was used in a way contrary to the instructions of the manufacturer or because of hard use, exposure to humidity or excess heat, corrosive substances, rust, unauthorized changes or connections, non-authorized opening or repair by the use of non-authorized accessories, bad use, unsuitable installation, accident, physical phenomena, exposure to food, drinks, chemical products or other effects beyond the reasonable control of ZAFETTA ELECTRICAL LIMITED except if the fault was caused directly from faults in materials, designs or workmanship. Additionally the warranty is void in case the fault was caused by the fact that the product was used or was connected with parts that do not fit the technical character of the product.
